Robert Wright, Senior Director of Racquets

Originally from Hertfordshire England, Rob is an LTA-certified pro with over 15 years of coaching experience. He played tennis for Oxford Brookes University with a major in Sport and Exercise Science.


Since joining Cliff Drysdale Tennis in early 2016, Rob has held key leadership roles at luxury resorts in California, Maryland, Wisconsin and Florida.

Kyle Edwards, Head Racquet Sports Professional

Kyle Edwards grew up in Atlanta, GA playing highly competitive tennis around the south. He was recruited to play tennis at Palm Beach Atlantic in West Palm Beach, FL before transferring to College of Charleston, SC where he finished with a degree in marketing. 

His extensive coaching background has taken him to places such as Hilton Head, SC and Aspen, CO while being certified for PTR.

Keith Hayes, Tennis Professional

USPTA-certifed pro, Keith Hayes grew up in Sausalito, CA. In college he spent five summer teaching with Hall of Fame Pepperdine University coach Allen Fox, PhD, and Hayes went on to teach in a variety of seating in California, including Malibu and Marin County before setting up his own successful programs in Sonoma County. 

Keith coached the Marin Catholic High School girls tennis team to back-to-back North Coast Section titles in 2008 and 2009. Several of his essays and instructional columns have appeared nation in TENNIS magazine and online at


Xavier De Vreese, Tennis Professional

De Vreese originally from from Nice, France, first started playing tennis at the age of 4. As a talented junior, he joined the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy at the age of 12 to further his development into an elite junior player. 


Throughout his six years at the academy, De Vreese qualified for France junior nationals and travelled Europe for tournaments. At 18, he was recruited by William Carey University, MS. While playing college tennis, De Vreese earned a Master's degree in Sports Management. He was the teaching assistant for the women's tennis team at William Carey and joins the team on Amelia Island with an extensive knowledge in player development.


Cyndi Roberts, Pickleball Professional

Cyndi has been playing competitive pickleball at the 5.0 level since October 2016. Since then, Roberts has earned her pickleball certification through the Professional Pickleball Registry. At her first tournament in Daytona Beach Shores, she won gold with her stepfather as her partner. Roberts then formed

a partnership with her stepbrother and has continued tournament success around Florida. 

Away from the court, she is a corrective exercise therapist and functional aging specialist. Roberts loves to work with those suffering with postural issues, aches and pains, Parkinson's disease, ALS, MS, and stroke symptoms. 


Steve Ashley, Pickleball Professional

Steve Ashley is a retired General Manager and Drydock Maser with a Master of Towing Captains License. He is also a U.S. Army Veteran. Ashly has lived in Fernandina Beach with his wife for 25 years. He was introduced to pickleball years ago after retiring. 

He became a Certified Professional Pickleball Registry instructor three years ago. Ashley loves playing and promoting pickleball with family and friends.
